Hey ladies of pop music, Katy Perry doesn't want to see your birthday suit.

Speaking with NPR, the "Roar" songstress says she's noticing a nude trend in her fellow pop stars these days -- and she's not too thrilled about it.

"Like females in pop -- everybody's getting naked. I mean, I've been naked before but I don't feel like I have to always get naked to be noticed," she tells radio host Scott Simon. "But it's interesting to see..."

"I'm not talking about anyone in particular. I'm talking about all of them," she explains. "I mean, it's like everybody's so naked. It's, like, put it away. We know you've got it. I got it too."

And don't worry, Perry is well aware that she's been a past offender.

She continues, "I've taken it off for -- I've taken it out here and there. And I'm not necessarily judging. I'm just saying sometimes it's nice to play that card but also it's nice to play other cards. And I know I have that sexy card in my deck but I don't always have to use that card."

Ja Rule is putting rumors to rest that he’s leaving his wife Aisha Atkins for a male lover he met while in prison.

The 37-year-old tackled the gossip, tweeting, “Ok I guess I have to address the idiots these rumors are FALSE LIES made up by some non mf factor website CLOWNS lmao,” 

Ja also took to Instagram on Thursday to post a photo showing the rapper kissing his wife while flipping off the camera. “Sorry to disappoint u guys who wanted so bad for the rumors to be true Merry Xmas haters from Mickey and Malerie #naturalbornkillers,”  the Murder Inc. rapper wrote in a caption alongside the flick.

The rap veteran was released in May after spending nearly two years behind bars on an illegal gun possession conviction and tax evasion.

Is it a "Kardashian kurse" or is Kanye West losing his cool all on his own? In any case, popularity problems seem to be plaguing the once untouchable rap sensation.
West’s performance this week brought just 4,500 people to the Sprint Center, a venue built for 19,000, meaning less than 24 percent of seats were occupied. He has had to cancel several other shows throughout his nationwide tour and drew criticism when he stopped a Florida concert after only three songs and demanded the lights be turned off before launching a profanity-laced rant at the tech staff and storming off the stage.
So is West’s egotistical, bizarre behavior finally taking its toll on fans?
“We are often drawn to people who have an ego and confidence that is derived from their talent. But an empty ego, based on a fake self-inflated image and concept, creates an over powering sense of desperation and superficiality,” human behavior expert Patrick Wanis told FOX411.
West has made headlines frequently lately, more due to his outlandish remarks than his trailblazing talent. We’ve heard the rapper compare himself to everyone from Jesus, Michael Jordan and Steve Jobs to Nelson Mandela, Michelangelo and Michael Jackson – and amid all that talk, he has also managed to offend much of the Jewish population.
The Anti-Defamation League is accusing West of anti-Semitism over comments he made to a Chicago radio station last month, urging him to take responsibility for saying that Obama can't execute moves because "he ain’t got those connections. Black people don’t have the same level of connections as Jewish people.”
Adding insult to injury, a new study released in November suggests that West’s connection to the Kardashian family may also be the reason for his popularity decline. Q Scores, a website marketers use to measure recognition, reported that West’s popularity has dipped a whopping 66 percent since he first started dating his reality star fiancée in April 2011, and that he now ranks far below the average hip hop artist and male celebrity.
"When putting two egotistical, self serving individuals together, you'll create a rather vile spark. And in times of economic hardship across the country, bragging about materialism is typically frowned upon,” says California-based public relations expert Angie Meyer-Olszewski. “The Kardashian brand is a sinking ship. Anybody who jumps on board will eventually fall. A successful celebrity in his own right, Kanye made a horrible strategic decision by engaging himself with Kim."
And while West’s highly-anticipated album “Yeezus” initially shot to No. 1 on the billboard charts, it fell an embarrassing 80 percent the following week, the largest second-week performance drop for a No. 1-debuting album in more than a year.
Then there was the release of that scandalous music video for “Bound 2,” co-starring his topless fiancée and baby mama, which become an instant laughing stock across the web and was slammed with a viral video spoof courtesy of comedians Seth Rogen and James Franco.
Things are not exactly coming up roses in the Kardashian empire either, with recent reports indicating that the show has been on a steady decline over the last four seasons and has lost almost one million viewers per episode since season five.
But according to some communications experts, West can get back on top if he plays his cards right.
“He can definitely win back favor with fans, as soon as the attention moves back to his music since he is such a talented artist,” says Elissa Buchter, founder of Schmooze PR. “The amount of ego you're allowed to get away with in Hollywood is directly proportional to success of your projects. As long as his songs are on top of the charts, his romantic life isn't going to crush his credibility as a superstar.”
A rep for West did not respond to a request for comment.

Making the most of her break from work, Angelina Jolie took her children to see "The Lion King" in Sydney, Australia on Sunday (December 8).

Paris Hilton's brother beaten up; claims Lindsay Lohan behind assault

Paris Hilton's little brother was badly beaten at a party and claims that Lindsay Lohan orchestrated the assault.

The party took place at a Miami mansion where the recently rehabbed actress has been staying while in town for an art festival. It was a particularly raucous affair that lasted from Friday night until well into Saturday morning.

According to TMZ people overheard Hilton saying derogatory things about Lohan and shortly afterwards he was jumped on.  24-year-old Hilton contacted the police and allegedly told them that the troubled starlet approached him at the party with a male friend and began yelling, “You talk s..t about me to my boyfriend, this is what you get.”

Her male accomplice began to punch Hilton while Lohan giggled and encouraged the violence.

Lohan is vigorously denying the accusation and claims that she wasn’t even present when the attack occurred but TMZ has obtained footage of Hilton confronting Lohan after the vicious assault.

Apparently Hilton does not know the identity of his attacker but is positive his sister’s former friend is behind it.

The Grammy Nominations for the 2014 awards were announced yesterday, and while many are satisfied with those who were nominated for the various music categories, there’s a lot of people wondering why K. Michelle came up empty. Especially since her rival Tamar Braxton scooped up three nominations.

The “Rebellious Soul” singer took to her Twitter account to make it clear she was not happy with the snub and she attributes her “realness” to the fact that she came up short. She tweets:

You’ve probably heard of ‘Catfish’ the TV show. But we bet you haven’t heard of one of the real-life ‘Catfish’-style schemes that took place recently without cameras rolling … and at Selena Gomez‘s house.
A 16-year-old Selenator named Viana Janae Jones began what she thought was an online friendship with the Disney alum, even receiving a backstage pass in the mail.
“Back in January, I began corresponding with someone whom I thought was Selena Gomez,” Jones revealed to Radar Online. “She reached out to me and said she saw my dance videos online and wanted me to work on her tour as one of her backup dancers.”
The girls’ alleged correspondence continued from there, culminating with who Jones believed to be Gomez inviting her for a girls’ weekend at her home.
However, when Jones and her mom spent hundreds of dollars to make the trip, it was all a hoax by Jones’ bitter ex-boyfriend — who she, in true demonstration of class and maturity, refused to name.
Just as Jones was pulling up to Gomez’s house, she received an email from the unidentified jerk telling her how stupid she was to think she could befriend the ‘Come & Get It’ singer. However, Jones had made the trip, so she rang Gomez’s intercom anyway. “I tried to explain everything that happened without coming off as a crazy fan. She hung up before I could finish explaining, which made my stomach turn,” Jones admitted.
However, shortly thereafter, Gomez’s mom, Mandy Teefey, came out to see what was going on. “She was very sweet and sympathetic,” Jones said of Teefey. “We had brought Selena a birthday present, and we also brought gifts for her newborn sister. Though we were glad her mom accepted the gifts, we left humiliated and didn’t get to meet Selena.”
Soruces close to Gomez confirmed that the incident did in fact happen. Still, Jones isn’t completely disillusioned.
“I haven’t heard from Selena or her mom, but I haven’t lost hope that I’ll meet her one day.”

I’m not gonna lie. The fact that I was accused of “slut-shaming,” being anti-woman, and judging women’s sex lives crushed me. I consider myself a feminist. I would never point a finger at a woman for her actual sexual behavior, and I think all women have the right to express their desires. But I will look at women with influence—millionaire women who use their “sexiness” to make money—and ask some questions. There is a difference, a key one, between “shaming” and “holding someone accountable.”

So back to the word whore. My hashtag was “stopactinglikewhores.” Key word, acting. Like I said, I’m not criticizing anyone’s real sex life; as George Michael tells us, “Sex is natural, sex is fun.” But the poles, the pasties, the gyrating: This isn’t showing female sexuality; this is showing what it looks like when women sell sex. (Also, let’s be real. Every woman’s sexuality is different. Can all of us really be into stripper moves? But in pop culture there’s just one way to be. And so much of it feels staged for men, not for our own pleasure.)

I understand that owning and expressing our sexuality is a huge step forward for women. But, in my opinion, we are at a point of over-saturation.

The tabloid claims Cyrus trash-talked her fellow singer at the American Music Awards last month, and quotes a so-called “insider” as saying, “Miley views her as the enemy.”

How come?

In Touch’s “source” alleges Cyrus is mad because she and Gaga are supposedly “going head-to-head in album sales.”

Oh, so does the “We Can’t Stop” singer also hate Katy Perry and One Direction, who released pop records around the same time?

Anyway, the mag’s “insider” further claims Cyrus is “determined to be even more outrageous” than her purported rival, and “beat Gaga at her own game.”

What game?

This story is just too weak to make any sense.

Smh... #nomakeup #hatewhengirlssaythat." It was clearly directed at him with me in the video, but like I said I was just doing my job," Russo tells the publication. Thephoto in question has since been deleted off Gomez's profile.

Adding that it's "ridiculous" fans have been comparing her to the former Disney star, Russo explains, "Selena is a superstar and I'm just a girl in a video. She's his ex and I'm sure they still have feelings for each other."
